He is so nice but you should be careful in class and don`t forget to take notes.

He is a good professor. Gives nice examples and just asks to have general understanding of the topic you are studying. Gives nice extra movie sessions .

Great professor. Good explanations, great sense of humor. Now I understand Latin America better thanks to him. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about my classmates…

I think he is one of the professor which knows the different between a general education course, and a major course

Prof. Castagneto is not a bad prof., clases are not boring even if they are at 9 o’clock at the morning. But he is not as easy grader he seems.

Castagneto is a fine prof. if you need an easy A and do not care much of knowledge you will walk with after having taken the class

      Dosnt`t agree !
Castagneto is not an easy grader – only 4-5 students get A or A-. per class.
However, if you are looking to pass the history requirement with a decent grade and not much effort, he is your guy :)

Prof. Castagneto is an okay professor. He is very enthusiastic about the subject and his classes are rarely boring. However, he is a tough grader. Even though the general notion at AUBG seems to be that it’s hard to fail a class with him, it’s just as hard to get a good grade. I have had some of the lowest grades I’ve ever gotten at AUBG with him, and I cannot say that I tried any worse in his class than I did in others – I certainly learned much more than in some other courses at AUBG where I had better grades. Perhaps part of the problem is that he doesn’t clearly specify his expectations to the students.

Castagneto is a good professor. Even if you don’t like history, you will find his classes rather interesting, than boring! Also, he doesn’t demand too much from the students, understanding that this is just Gen Ed course for most of us. However, it might take some time for you to understand his accent :)
